Jason Hoey
President
Jason was born in Jacksonville and graduated from Fletcher High School. He spent the majority of his childhood years in Hawaii and worked in surfboard manufacturing there before returning to Jacksonville to work for the family business. In his spare time, he enjoys socializing with friends and family, surfing, fishing, playing music and lounging around the house. He has been at Beaches Woodcrafts since May 1992.

Luke Hoey
Engineer
Luke was raised in Atlantic Beach and graduated from Fletcher High School. After working in our installation department for 5 years, Luke now plays the key role in getting shop drawings rendered and sent to the router to begin the production process. In his spare time he enjoys skateboarding, fishing , playing guitar and working on vintage Toyota’s. Luke has been with us since January 2013.

Leighton Hoey
Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer
Leighton was raised in Atlantic Beach, FL. and graduated from Florida State College at Jacksonville in 2018 with a degree in Interior Design. Some of her favorite things are photography, going to concerts, creating art with her friends and spending the day at the beach. Leighton has been with Beaches Woodcrafts since August 2017.

Jenifer Motes

Jen has lived in Atlantic Beach since 1989. She graduated from Fletcher High in 1994 and Florida Community College at Jacksonville in 2000 with a degree in Child Psychology. When she isn’t working you might find her reading, gardening or walking on the beach. Jen has been with Beaches Woodcrafts since September 2013.

David Bathalter
Builder, Shop Foreman
Dave grew up in Villa Hills, Kentucky and graduated from Dixie Heights High School. He has been residing in Jacksonville since 1996. When he’s not at work, Dave enjoys spending time with his children, cooking out, and going to sporting events and concerts. Dave has been with us since July 2016.

Mike Pryer
Builder
Mike was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and is a die hard Bears fan. He moved to Jacksonville as a teenager and graduated from Fletcher High in 1980. When not at work, Mike enjoys fishing and hanging out with friends and family. Going way, way back, Mike has been a team member since April 1988.

John Atkinson

Jodi grew up in the Arlington area of Jacksonville. When he isn’t working, he enjoys fishing and surfing. Jodi’s favorite meal is seared Wahoo, red beans and rice and broccoli. He would like to visit Australia to tighten up his fishing and surfing skills. He is also an “old school” member of the team, Jodi has been with us since November 2004.
Michael Pryer, JR

Mike was born and raised right here in Jacksonville, FL. In his spare time, he likes to eat lasagna, play music and fish. Mike has been with us since June 2017.

James Coffey
Door Department Lead
Jimmy grew up in Ponte Vedra Beach and has been in the Jacksonville area most of his life. Before he started at Beaches Woodcrafts, Jimmy worked as a chef in several fine dining restaurants. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, reading books, and listening to podcasts. He has been with us since July 2018.
